What Does A Lump On The Lower Back Indicate?

Hello, I have a knot in lower side of back that when I rub and sort of push over it, it kind of moves up and down. I have other fairly small knots around same area but feel somewhat different. The one that moves slightly is a new one I think. I have others around the same area that my Dr checked and didn t think they were anything to be concerned about. I am a little concerned about this one as it wasn t there before and like I said it moves a little it seems. Thanks very much for your advice.

a lump that moves is quite typical of a lipoma, which is a mass of fats underneath the skin. it's a benign condition and only removed for cosmetic reasons. you don't need to be concerned. but if you feel any changes like pain or change in color or size, then you should get it checked again. for now your OK
