What Does A Lump On The Leg Indicate?

I fell and hit my lower right leg on a cement step. Have swelling and massive lump on my leg. Had an xray and was told it s not broken. Have iced my leg for 2 days and have elevated it over my heart. But the swelling has now also moved to my ankle and foot. Should I have another xray or MRI done to see if I damaged muscle.

Hi

Greetings from HealthcareMagic!

If it is fracture then take X-ray and consult orthopedics specialist. He has to decide whether platting or pop has to be given now. Take rest and apply crape bandage after ten days. X-ray is to be taken. Consult specialist for further treatment. MRI can be taken to see muscular damage. Rest with crape bandage will be helpful. Further X-ray is not required since MRI has been done.

Take Care!
