Hello, and i hope I can help you today.
Many women can get blocked hair or sweat glands on the
vulva and labia. If the bump is on hair-b4aring skin, it is usually filled with yellow cream discharge, and if it on the
labia minora, the bump is usually filled with fluid. Neither type of bump is an
STD.
The best way to get a sebaceous
cyst (that is what these bumps are called) is to not pick at or puncture them, but to soak in warm water or apply a steamy washcloth for about 10 minutes a few times a day, which should help the bump to come to a head and burst on it's own. Since yuo popped yours, you may just have a scab or some inflammation from the wound you created.
The best thing at this point would be to keep the area clean and dry, do not traumatize the area even further, and give it time to heal. If the bump does not go away soon or the area around it gets red or more swollen, you may have gotten it infected by popping it and may need a doctor visit for antibiotics.
But at this point, it will likely heal on its own if you continue warm soaks and let the area stay clean and dry.
I hope I was able to adequately answer your question today and that this advice was helpful.
Best wishes,
DR. Brown
