What Does A Lump On Back After An Injury Indicate?
My son was thrown off a 4wheeler. He hit the ground so hard on his back that his legs we re thrown over his head skinning his knee, he also hit head. His head isn t busted open but it has a knot on it and is bleeding a little. He also has a knot on the left center of his back. Is he in serious danger

In every case of motor vehicle accidents if you have any injury to head whether mild bleeding or severe,one must undergo CT brain although there would be rare chances of injury inside, but to verify any skull bone fracture is also important.
So go for ct brain first.
Second,you asked about knot..
It can be blister formation or small hematoma etc but it would be cure with regular dressing and medication.
Consult any surgeon for further query because there can be chances of small injuries to other sites also as this is a case of 4 wheeler accident.
