What Does A Lump Near The Tragus On The Right Ear Indicate?

I have a small hard nodule located near the tragus of the right ear. It s not only painful to touch but I m experiencing stabbing shooting pain to my right jaw area. I recently went to an urgent care center and the doctor prescribed antibiotics. I m currently on day 2 but I ve not experienced relief. Although, I m no longer experiencing pain to the right side of my neck when swallowing. Should I now make an appointment with an ENT?

As you mentioned you have problem of small lump at tragus area and painful .
Antibiotics not give relif so better to consult a ENT specialist for further diagnosis.
Clinical examination of site give exact idea about problems.
Size, shape, color over skin and consistency of lesion give more information..
Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems.
