What Does A High Glucose Level Indicate?

hi, I had a free health screening today at work. My random glucose result was 9.2, the nurse said this was very high. However I had drank a bottle of lucozade with my lunch a few minutes before this and i didnt know the nurse would be testing for diabetes. So my question is; is it possible that the lucozade would have raised my blood glucose level this high, or is this a strong indication I may have diabetes?

Hi,
After taking lucozade within few minutes blood glucose level can not go so high.
You require further investigations to rule out Diabetes.
Go for,
1, Hb1ac level,
2, fasting blood sugar,
3, blood sugar level after 2 hours of meal.
After all reports one may have conclusion of diabetes.
