What Does A Green Stick Femur Fracture Indicate?

My son was knocked over and was told that he has a green stick femur fracture (above his knee at the front of his leg) it was where the car hit before throwing him, that he has a lot of blood around the knee on the xray. He has been put in a leg brace and told to go back to fracture clinic in three days. Is this type of fracture serious or will he be back playing sports soon?

Dear patient your son is lucky enough As he has got green stick fracture. It is type of fracture in which fracture in undisplaced and it just appears as thin hair like line is bone. This fracture needs protection for a period of one month and it heals normally.he will return to normal in one month. Do not worry.
