What Does A Dry Patch On The Nipple Indicate?

I have found dry patches on the nipple of my right breast. It s almost like a scab, and when they came off the spot underneath bled a small amount. There is no pain in the area where the spots are. What is left after the dry scabby skin came off is a red spot. Can you give me any information on this problem? Is it a serious situation? Needless to say I am a bit worried, but I do not want to over react.

Hi,
It seems that there might be having some local skin lesion like dermatitis.
This can be due to allergy to synthetic bra.
consult Gynaec for through examination of breast for any deep seated lesion in the breast.
Meanwhile apply triple action cream.
Wear cotton bra.
Ok and take care.
