What Does A Bump On The Right Thigh Indicate?

I have a small bump in my right quad muscle. Not painful at least I don t think. When I do feel something, it almost feels like a growing pain but I also cannot really tell if it is coming from that exact area. Also, the skin above the area is mildly more dry/ scalely than the rest of my skin on my leg which is normal. Should I be concerned?

Hello,

Small corns or bumps, if it is not painful and not enlarged nor red nor itchy, then it is better to leave it alone for some time rather than being concerned about it.

If it is emerging from bone is and relatively painful and red and inflamed or if multiple corns have started appearing, then you need to go to orthopedic.

If not only for the cosmetic reason, you can get it removed from any dermatologist with acid peeling method or you just leave the corn for now and enjoy your life.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
