General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is nothing but a bruise at the puncture site.

Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself without any definite treatment.

If lesion persists you can consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
