General & Family Physician 's  Response

A black spot under the fingernail could be a bleeder. It could be fungal too. Do you have any associated health condition? Fingernail fungus can be treated easily. If it's not responding to the standard treatment we have to rule out other causes. Please attach a picture of it and your medical history or visit a nearby Dermatologist, he will be able to treat this.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
