Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When I went to the emergency 2years ago, I have xray and the doctor told me there s a black spot on the right side of my lung and he s not sure if it s cancer but I have to go see a specialist about it and find out but till now I didn t go, so what do you think is it cancer?
A black spot in X ray is usually space filled with air. Tumours and solid tissues generally appear white on X ray. So it is highly unlikely to be a tumor. To be sure get a CT scan or MRI done. This will give a better picture of the tissues in and around your lungs.
Hope this answers your question, thank you.
