What Does A 3.5 Sized Colon Polyp Indicate?
I had a 3.5 sized colon polyp and waiting on the results. Right after the procedure my doctor said he wanted to see me in his office and have another in 6 months. Again we re waiting in the results but the sternness in his request to see me (in a couple of days and another colonoscopy) has me worried. Do you think he pretty much recognized precancerous based on his experience and the size?

We can't say anything from his request to see you.Only the histology results of the polyp will tell if there are precancerous cells.However, seeing you in his office after an intervention is a normal practice. Plyps do predispose for cancer in future but stay calm and wait for the results.
