Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
After having surgery Spondylolysis surgery I am still having a little bit of problems and a new CT report that says Small disc bulges L2-L3 & L3-L4 with mild mass effect on the thecal sac Small disc bulge right lateral recess at L4-L5 Mild neuroforaminal stenoses bilaterally at L3-L4 and L4-L5 What does all this mean?
It is saying that small disc herniation is also present at other level , it shows that spine is having degenerative changes, so i would suggest you to continue physiotherapy, and drugs like Myoril. Complete pain relief will take time as compressed nerve regenerates slowly. Avoid weight lifting and forward bending for time being.
