What Does MSF In Both Right And Left Ovary Indicate?
I am 32 years old & undrgoing medical treatment to conceive. I am on follicular study & my 10th day sonography report is showing MSF in Right & Left Ovary both. What will be the reason & is it a obstacle in getting conceived? I had undergone Laproscopy recently.
The ultrasound report shows multiple small follicles (MSF) in both the ovaries which indicate that the follicles are not growing well. You need stimulation to induce the release of eggs from the ovary. Optimum size of the biggest follicle (egg) before egg release is 22 mm. Your doctor may give an injection for egg release if this size is achieved. In order to get conceived, you need healthy fallopian tubes and adequate sperm count. If both are fine, natural pregnancy is very much possible. Have regular sex with your husband during this period and repeat the follicular study on days 12 an 14.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
