What Does Left Adnexal Mass Consider Para-ovarian V/s Paratubal Cyst Indicate?

My Uterus and right ovary was removed last November 2011 and an ultrasound impression last week shows that i have a Left adnexal mass consider para-ovarian versus paratubal cyst ( unilocular anechoic cyst) and there is no fluid in the pelvic cavity..can you help me understand this?

Thanks for using healthcaremagic.
As your uterus and right ovary are removed, the lesion may be a left ovarian cyst. It is a simple cyst and unless it is big in size you should not worry about it. The size of the lesion determines the treatment. If the leison is more than 2.5 cms you should consult a gynaecologist for further management. It it is less than 2.5 cms then there is nothing to worry as it would not cause any problem.
As per the report it looks like a simple cyst without any fluid in pelvis so there is absolutely nothing to worry.
