What does GGT is 133 U/L ALT is 21 U/L, AST is 23 U/L and ALP is 88 u/l indicate?
Just got back from the doctor blood test reveals that my GGT is 133 U/L ALT is 21U/L, AST is 23U/L and ALP is 88u/l. Total Bilirubin is 12. 2 previous tests 2 years ago my GGT was 87 and 2 months ago my GGT was 124. What could this mean? I don't know if this is related but every once in a while (2-3 months or more) I get a couple of days of pains in my right side right above the hip. It goes away after a 2-3 days.
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your bilirubin is very high. Your ast and alt is normal. So it rule out any liver damage. Your ggt is high. All your findings are suggestibe of cholestasis. You may have cholycysytitis or gall stone. You should go for ultrasound abdomen. It give exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.

My husband had high AST, ALT, and Low ALP. The dr. said to wait a couple of months and retest. Upon doing that his AST, ALT came back in the normal range the ALP is still low 22 U/L and he now has high 1.7 mg/dl Bilirubin level. They are now having him go back for GGT tests and an ultrasound. Any idea what this is looking for? Is it possible Celiac Disease would cause the low ALP and high bilirubin?
my son is constantly complaining of constant throat pain in his lower throat, also severe stomach pain and constant head congestion. He is also very tired all the time. He has had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy in the last few weeks. Both were normal. A couple months ago his bilirubin count was high. His doctors are seaming to give up. could you give any light on the subject.
I am a 42 year old female with no major health problems, but have not been feeling well over the last few years (since having kids). I recently had blood work done because I have been fatigued and achy and short of breath. It showed my bilirubin was slightly elevated and a positive ANA (they mentioned a slightly high RNP or something like that). A couple of years ago, by CRP levels showed up as elevated. What could this point to?
