What Does Bilateral Increased Bronchovascular Markings With Vascular Prominence Suggest ?

hello sir My mother just had an X ray for chest since she had cough for past 3 days and the report was as following X-RAY CHEST PA View Bilateral increased bronchovascular markings with bilar vascular prominence - broncitic changes with hilar congestion Both CP angles free Cardia normal Bilateral hemi diaphragm normal Although the cough has ow reduced to just 15%, what does the report suggest? She is taking Dolo 650 for fever and Clavam 625

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should not worry much for her x ray report as it is normal.
Blood follows gravity. So lower parts of lungs are having more blood supply.
And blood is more radio opaque then surrounding air.
So vessels of lower part, having more blood appear prominent on chest x ray. So x ray reporting of prominent Broncho vascular markings are seen.
Lung hilu is having all major vessels supplying lung. So it is also appearing more prominent.
So no need to worry for this report as it is normal.
