Baclofen is not a narcotic. It is a medicine used for muscle spasticity. It is often used in people who have chronic muscle spasticity from paralysis or severe spinal probems. Baclofen IS the name of the chemical ingredient/generic name. It is a derivative of gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA). But it is not a narcotic so no need to worry.
