What Do You Suggest For Experiencing Bouts Of AFIB After A Valve Replacement?

Hi I had valve replacement surgery 3 years ago and also had a maze procedure done at that time. I occasionally experience bouts of AFIB and it usually sets itself back to normal rythym in a short span. But today I didn t go into AFIB but My heart rate has been constantly at 120 even while resting. I do not have any dizziness or shortness of breath or chest pain. Can I wait to see the doctor tomorrow?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your worry, as matter of fact AFIB can only be detected by EKG, of course this gives some symptoms but that symptoms can not be said due to AFIB only, so it is better to confirm the AFIB with the help of EKG tracing, without the EKG finding it is not possible to treat the condition, if you do not have any other symptoms like chest pain dizziness shortness of breath then nothing to worry about this, this may be related with your stress level, hope this information helps you take care and have nice time.
