What Do You Suggest For Cough With Hoarseness In My Voice?

Hi since Sunday I have had a chesty cough but not annoying me. Last night the cough got worse and I woke to a complete hoarseness in my voice but have no other symptoms no blocked sinus or headaches or chills. I had a sore throat two years ago and developed angio oedema

Hi, you seem to be suffering from laryngitis and the cough and hoarseness can both be explained with that. Please take steam inhalation; use mucolytics, proton pump inhibitors and if fever then, antibiotics. If the voice does not recover, use of steroids under antibiotic cover may be required in consultation with an ENT. Regards
