What Do You Suggest For Constricted Esophagus Due To Ulseration?
A freind of mine who is a korean war vet has a constricted esophagus due to ulseration. He says that the va hospital has tried expanding the entrance to his stomach with little or no success due to scar tissue. Is there an alternative method of treatment that may work?
Hi, Visiting a good Gastroenterologist would solve the problem. one failure does not mean failure forever. He can still be a candidate for baloon dilatation and if shows no response, myotomy and scar excision will give wonderful results. As i suggested, an expert Gastroenterologist consultation is all that he needs. All the best.
