What Do White Worms In The Vaginal Area Of A Child Indicate?

My child has tiny white worms in her vaginal area. I saw one about 3 months ago but I thought it was discharge. Today she complained of burning and itchiness again and I saw two worms moving around. What it is and what could be the consequence of not treating it 3 months ago?

Hello
It may be pinworm infection. Pinworm infection mainly occur in intestine. But worms come out of anus and travel to the vagina causing itchiness.
Giving deworming agent helps here.
