Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello doctor, I had theses white spots on my skin since birth I was always told that the doctor whom delivered me said it is a birth mark. At first it was on my right upper forehead and my hair has a lighter coloring on one side then the other. Like if I was to flip my hair over the right side of my hair is like 3-5 shades lighter than if I was to flip the left half of my hair. I have no clue if is due to my skin or not but recently I have looked at my skin now these white spots are covering my left arm and leg and now I have noticed some of these marks on my neck right arm and leg, on my back and stomach also on the left side of my face. I was wondering if there is anyway I can speed the appearing of these marks while also keeping them? I find them beautiful but yet odd since its been almost 17 years now and they are still spreading. Is there any set timing when they will stop spreading? Thank you for your time and your help.
Probably herniated disc with paraverthebral, compensatory back spasm. treat with analgetics for time being, but should check with physical medicine spec, orthoped. x ray, ultrasound of soft tissues (if needed)...........even mri.... and color doppler of neck blood vessels.
