I went to the ER on 8-10-17 with what I thought was a cold. Had a CT SCAN AND X-RAY. ER Dr told me that I have meningioma. I went the next day and picked up the CT scan and X-RAY. Found out thru the images that I have 2.. The ER Dr didn t give me much information. I m trying to find out more information. I have the images
The meningioma is entirely unrelated to your cold/flu symptoms. It's an incidental finding unless you also have complaints of headaches or other neurological symptoms that could be related to the meningioma.
Typically, these benign tumors are not resected from the brain since they tend to recur and mainly don't cause problems.
