What Do Swollen, Tender Upper Thigh With Bruises After A Fall Indicate?

Three weeks ago I was in a motorcycle accident that I walked away from without going to the hospital. I hit a fence and I had severe bruising to my left upper leg, which eventually spread down the inside of my lower leg. It is mostly healed now, but there is a bulge on my upper outer thigh that first started to diminish, but has now continued to swell, bulge and be just a little tender. It is not bruised any longer. Is this anything to worry about?

Hi, thank you for asking healthcare magic
I understand your concerns

You might need to worry a bit. With this presentation, it could be possible that it might be an abscess. You need to be evaluated. Syringe aspiration could give an idea if it is an abscess or not. I would advise you see a doctor for proper assessment and management.

I hope that helps
I wish you well
