What would cause uncontrollable shaking, after stomach cramps with diarrhea, no vomiting, just nausea. During the shaking every muscle and joint was screaming in pain. Shaking went on for one and half hours before subsiding. I am an 82 yr. old female with A-Fib

Hi,

Shaking episode you experienced at your age is suggesting convulsion after a high fever episode or possibly due to stroke (spike in blood pressure).

As you are having A-fib, a complete cardiac and neurological check up is required.

Blood electrolytes should be also get tested.
