What Do Red Patches In Colonoscopy Indicate?

Hi i had a colonoscopy yesterday and the doc told my husband that all was normal except they found some red patches and took a biopsy. I am averaging one pound a week weight loss due to severe diarrhea, acid reflux is out of control and i just had leukoplakia removed from my voicebox. In the past i had polyps in my colon, at a very young age. Im curious about what the red spots could be

Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
But your red spot in the colonoscopy could be due to many reasons. Even mild inflammation may produce it. So best thing is to go for biopsy. Biopsy results will clear all the picture. Then take treatment accordingly if needed.
