What Do Red Lump On The Inner Thigh Mean?

I am a 24-year-old female and for the past couple of days there has been a red lump on my upper inner thigh. The lump hurts when any type of pressure exists. When I first noticed it the size was about a dime, now it is up to quarter size. The lump is hard, non-moveable, and does not seem to have any ingrown hair(s) or opening (like a pimple) at the top. I had one a few months ago that was higher on my leg, so less pain because it was not in between my thighs. That one went away and did not grow or was not nearly as bad. Not sure what it is?

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Te most probable problem obviously is a boil only. Die to fat, pressure and site classical findings are not seen.
A small course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines like Ibuprofen will solve this.
