What Do Rashes On The Legs And Arms Indicate?

I have a rash on my legs- with hive like concentration on the backs of my knees, slight rash on left arm.. was also right arm, but now gone.. was on jaw line but pretty much subsided, also on outside of ears.. started in splotches on upper chest this morning as well as hairline on the back of neck.. I have had for 7 days and it has gotten gradually worse for 7 days.. today is the worst.. seems like worse with sun exposure.. but not always.. no change in diet, no other health issues.. no allergies that I know of - I m 42 years old. Never had a rash like this before.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
In my opinion these symptoms may be due to allergic reactions to sunlight,a condition called cholinergic urticaria.
A trial of antihistaminics can be given.
If there is no relief, investigations will be needed for estimation of eosinophils.
