General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes, it is shingles and also called herpes zoster and you are having neuropathic pain. Take tablet Acyclovir for viral infection. For itching, take tablet Levocetirizine. For the eye, Acyclovir drops 5 times a day. For pain take tablet Methylcobalamin and Gabapentin. As these are prescription drugs, please contact your local doctor and he will prescribe these medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
