Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain swollen bumps at the back of your tongue seems to be due to inflammation caused by heat and chemicals present in cigarette smoke, it can also be due to acid reflux causing chemical injury..
You should immediately stop smoking as well as if you have acid reflux you should take antacids and dietary modifications..
For swollen papillae do warm saline gargles, sod-bicarb gargles can also relieve.
Gargle with cold water and suck ice pops.
You can also take anti-inflammatory medicines like Ibuprofen..
Avoid spicy food..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
