Hi, I am a homecare nurse with a pt whos been on BetaSeron inj every other day for ore than 20 yrs. I have been administering the inj for the past 12 years. We follow a rotation schedule for the inj sites. Recently she developed small hard painful lumps beneath the skin in her abdomen, a couple are too low to be an injection site but 2 of them are in the area where she has had her shots. She saw her pcp today regarding this. But I would like to know if this sounds like a possible reaction from the Betaseron inj? for 20 years the most she has experienced is the very rarely redness with pain at site of inj that would last a few days then be gone.
