What Do Pain And Tenderness In The Vagina Indicate?

I am wondering if having discomfort in the vagina is of concern ? I am be taking a prescription for what the doctor diagnosed as a bladder infection. I am also very tender and sore , when I wipe myself, I have to pat the area because it seems to cause my hymen to ache. The only way I can get any comfort is to use a hot water bottle , and Tylenol. Is the aching from my infection or does it sound like a ruptured hymen?

For proper diagnosis your age and menstrual history would be needed. It could be an infection but it could also be anything more than that if you're middle aged or above. Please mention your details or go to a gynecologist.
