What Do Pain And Swelling On The Knees Indicate?

my knee is swollen on the upper outside area, and is causing pain to radiate down through my calve into my foot and sometimes up into my thigh. what could be causing this? this just started about 4-5 days ago and has gotten worse as the days go by. my email is thank you

Hello,

Swelling in the knees can be anything. First, we need to know did you had any trivial trauma. If so then it could be fracture patella or meniscal tear injury. If there is prolonged immobilization then it could be hampering of the circulation which might be causing you this. For that, you need to use compression stockings to improve circulation. If its due to bad posture and sciatic nerve compression then you need to care about it and take neurobione forte for healing injured nerve.
