What Do Pain And Stiffness On The Knees Indicate?

Been having issues with legs. Knees often feel stiff below the knee cap and fatigued. At times the skin on the back of the knee occasionally feels tight with occasional minor but sharp shooting pains. And more recently my ankles and feet retain quite a bit of water sometimes for weeks at a time. That symptom seems to clear if i adhere to more normal sleep patterns. And finally the symptom which prompted me to ask you in the first place (just barely noticed this today) (about 1 year since i first noticed the discomfort in the knee) approx 12 of my inner thigh- back of thigh right above knee on both legs is red and blotchy. Im 31, work long hours on my feet. Get a fair amount of excercise on my skateboard commuting places.5 8 170 lbs. smoke occasionally
