What Do Pain And Itching In The Lower Abdomen Indicate?

Hi...my 13 yr old son was complaining of an itching inside his lower left abdomen. Them today it has turned into a sharp achy pain. We thought constipation and have him a lot of eater and fiber. He had a bowel movement but it still hurts in the same place through to his back. No fever, nausea, or vomiting. Kidney stones? Gall bladder? Help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Does the itchy part have a lesion which has been changed? I can tell what that is, but I need a look for the lesion first.

That is not gallbladder stone because that is on the right side. That is less likely kidney because it is not having itching complain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhadresh Lakhani
