What Do Numbness And Pain In The Toes Indicate?

I ve been on Myloxicam for several months, actually off and on for about two years. I had knee surgery in Dec of 2014. I tried for the last several months to do without it, but finally went back to it because of the pain. I have noticed in the mean time that my toes have been numb. I wondered if the meds could be a cause of that. I m not diabetic and don t have neuropathy. Any thoughts?\

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Please undergo MRI foot and lab tests as serum uric acid and RA factor. And I am sure that you will get the clue to the diagnosis. Also, get your blood pressure checked.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi
