What Do Nausea, Cold Sweats And Pain In The Ribs Indicate?
What could be wrong......I felt fine all day yesterday...then when I laid down for bed I began having nausea, cold sweats, and moderate to severe pain in my left side near my lowest rib. I then spent the rest of the nite vomiting and in pain. When I got up this morning the nausea was gone but the pain remains with occasional nausea.

Left lower rib pain with nausea and vomiting is suggestive of infection in the pleura or stomach or left kidney.
You may need to get it done urine examination and culture, ultrasound abdomen and blood investigation. Please consult your physician, he/she will examine and investigate and treat you accordingly.
