What Do Lumpy And Painful Breasts Indicate?

I had a Complete hysterectomy 12years ago. I had a cyst on my breast which was removed as it had a few cancerous cells in it. Nothing too dramatic there no further treatment was necessary. I do not take hrts. My problem is that my breasts are lumpy and oh so painful. They also have increased in size in the last six months.

Understand your concern.
You should consult the surgeon and require breast examination

Following are the causes of your problem: Hormonal imbalance : High /lack of estrogen and progesterone
Breast cyst, recurrent Breast cancer, Breast trauma, Breast size, Excessive stress, Excessive Alcohol and caffeine use, Fibroadenoma

You can do following test if remain long time:
1. Hormonal profile: LH, FSH, Prolactin, Estrogen, progesterone
2. Mammography

Treatment:
1. Life style cahnges
- 30 min regular walk
- Wear supportive pad bra
- use of Ice pack
- Relaxation excercise: breathing technique
- Low fat diet
- High fiber intake
- Decreased salt intake
- Multivitamin intake
- Reduce alcohol and caffine
2. drug: Hormonal replacement therapy after doctor consultation
Macafem: It is non estrogenic herb-induce ovary to produce hormone
3. Gentle massage with prime rose oil
4. Acupuncture therapy
