What Do Lumps On The Back Of The Head Indicate?

Hello, i have a question about lumps on the back of my head. I first noticed them last thurs and it was just one, but a day later found another one on the other side. Doing some research leads me to believe they may be swollen occipital lymph nodes. I don thave any dandruff or scalp condition I m aware of. However i do wear a hard hat for work and the band is right over where the lumps are, perhaps this is correlated. Any input helpful!

Hi welcome to health care magic..

You have not mentioned size of lesion

If you upload photo of lesion than comment will be easier

It could be lymph node enlargement or it can be soft tissue tumour as well...

For rule out its nature FNAC like primary investigating lab test can be done

Than if tumour revealed than excision needed

For reactive lymph node enlargement follow up needs to be taken

Take care

Advise : Surgeon consultation for examination and further work up
