What Do Low Thyroid Level And Blood In Urine Mean?
Hi, I had a thyroid stimulating hormone test done . It's low 0.165 L. I also had a CBC wit differential (RGMC-CBCD) done: mean cell volume 97.0 H. Mean cell HGB concentration 31.0 L. Monocyte%12.2 H. Absolute neutrophil 4.5 H. I had a urinalysis complete (w/micro)(RGMC -URUAM); ua appearance cloudy A.ua blood dipstick Large A. Protein , urine dipstick 30 mg/dl a. Ua squamous cells many. Ua mucous abundant. I also had a comp metabolic panel ( RGMC - cmp) est glomerular filtration rate 75 L. Potassium 5.2 H. Glucose 57 L.... Thyroid was low n urine had blood n potein . Can u please tell me war this means?

Hi Thanks for your query Based on your query and reports, my opinion is as follows 1. TSH levels are low, which means your thyroid gland is hyperfunctioning, thyroid hormones like thyroxine will be high.Excess of thyroid hormones can affect metabolism adversely. So you need to take a endocrinologist's opinion to start on medications required as soon as possible. 2. Hemogram is normal except for increase in monocytes, this is not significant as long as you are free of symptoms. 3. In urine analysis some of the parameters are deranged- proteins, blood, mucus and epithelial cells are not present in urine normally. Their presence indicates some kind of pathology probably inflammation. This requires thorogh evaluation. 4. GFR is in the normal range. Hope this helps Regards
