What Do Light And Shadows In The Peripheral Vision Indicate?
Had that eye thing happen again earlier where everything left of center was only either lights or shadows. Lasted about a hal hour and then kind of flashed in shadows as it came back to normal..... Well, sort of normal as I can only guess what is written on the computer screen as I can t actually focus on the print on the screen.... My keyboard has bigger letters and I know where all the keys are thankfully. This is what a friend of mine posted on facebook.
It can be degenerative condition of peripheral retina they can be detected in vitreous as floaters. No treatment to control floaters to be kept under watch. Indirect ophthalmoscopy can can be done to keep a watch floaters. Also on holes and tear. keep watch they can be indicative of retinal detachment. Consult retina surgeon tear can be sealed by application of laser.
Visual acuity is normal and that is how you are able to read all the letters on the computer. This can be a sign of peripheral detachment. It can take second opinion. Appears your visual activity is normal, avoid focusing on computer for long time since you may develop computer vision syndrome. This is resulted from dry-eye, apply refresh eye tear drop which spread the tear all over cornea and cornea can gets its nutrition from tear refraction can be done and any error detected can be corrected.
Take care!
