What Do Itchy Red Spots On The Arms And Legs Indicate?

Hi, I have been having extremely itchy skin for about 2 weeks now. I ve been taking Benedryl for some relief. I have little sores and scabs all over my arms and legs from itching and those spots still itch so they aren t healing because I keep scratching. I haven t changed medications or anything in my normal daily routine (soaps, detergent, etc.) Any ideas as to what may be going on? My legs and arms are spotted with red dotted scabs.
