Hi, I am inquiring about a rash my friend has over his body. He is a 64 yr old male who has a BMI of 39, blood pressure I just took with my bp cuff and it was 129/77. His rash started with small bumbs around his thigh and groin area. They caused severe itching and upon initial itching, he describes them as having white matter come out. The rash appears to have spread throughout most of his body although not all looking like dry read blisters. His calves are very red in color as if he had severe sunburn (hardly the case given we live in Central MN). He has taken oral antihistamine, Bendryl, but only 2 doses and he has applied anti-itch cream and hydrocortison but no change has occured. He has no known history of allergies and no new medicines or laundry soap, etc. We would really appreciate your advice. Thanks.
