What Do High Blood And Urine Sugar Level Indicate?

My mom is diabetic since 10 years.in her recent blood test we found present (+) in her corresponding urine sugar test and also it was a sugar pp after lunch test. Her blood suger level is also above the specified range(215.6 mg/dl).i just want to know.. what it indicates.

Hi welcome to health care Magic....

According to history your mother having uncontrolled diabetics...

If post prandial blood glucose level is above 200 than it is diabetis....

The value above thresold that is more than 180 will be reflected by presence of sugar in urine also...

So suitable antidiabetic drug should be started.... Like metformin if obese...

Reduce weight if obese...

Daily exercise will be useful...

Avoid excess sweat, fatty foods...

Urine examination, blood pressure measurement, lipid testing should also be done...
