What Do Headaches And Backaches Indicate?

I have had 3 Thunderclap headaches in 5 days. Had CAT scan done at first time. Scheduled MRI next week. Started after I hurt my back. Could slipped disc or pinched nerve cause this? Normally never get headaches.this was terrifying and so afraid of it happening again. Only gave me Naproxen and makes me fuzzy but still have slight headache.

Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
It is likely that you have a vascular headache like atypical migraine.
I think you google a lot regarding your symptoms. All back aches are not due to pinched nerves or slipped disc. The commonest cause is a strained muscle. All three are unlikely to be the cause of your headache.
I would expect your MRI also to be normal as was your CT.
Your headache and back ache may be related to stress also.
Eat healthy, exercise at least 30 minutes of isotonic exercises not aggravating pain and practise relaxation techniques.
If these do not relieve your symptoms, it would be good to see a neurologist and have yourself examined and investigated appropriately.

Do get back to me if you have further query
