Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do Episodes Of Weird Sensation In The Eyes Indicate?
I have been getting the sudden sensation that my eyes are crossed but they aren t. It s happened 3 times in the last week and a half. Once while I was driving, once while I was sitting, and then while I was walking. I just had my eyes checked in March and they were fine. These episodes last about 10-15 minutes and then disappear as quickly as they appeared
Crossed eyes can be due to some developing disorder in the brain. CVI, cortical visual impairment usually results in abnormal responses to the light leading to acuity loss, crossed eyes complicating to blurred vision.
Since the episodes are happening for 10-15 minutes you need a thorough check-up, MRI, CT, Eye Checkup & other Imaging tests if required. Get evaluated & Treated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
