My grandson who is 2 had some blood work done because of his eating problem (he does not want to eat food ,he drinks milk and will eat eat dried food like cereal, crackers, cookies to me junk food) he is also very small for a 2 year old. So they did blood work and his liver level count is very high and his blood count is high were it use to be low all the time they said he was anemic. What does it mean if his liver level is high?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Elevated liver enzymes with elevated blood count with anemia is suggestive of hepatitis (liver infection and inflammation).
So better to consult gastroenterologist and get done clinical examination and ultrasound examination of abdomen to find out cause for hepatitis.
He will need liver supportive drugs and other drugs.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your grandson. Thanks.
