What Do Delay In Periods And Negative Pregnancy Result Indicate?

Hi I had my periods due on March 15. As I was trying for a baby, I waited for a week n the pregnancy results were negative. My Dr advised me to take meprate 10mg. I started spotting on 26 and bleeding on 28. Later on April 10th I again started bleeding. My Dr initially advised me to take meprate to stop bleeding and as I was trying for a baby she asked me to shift to duphaston 10mg. I had sex with my husband on 12 and 15 of April. Today is 24 and from 18 I had spotting it started with light brown and then dark red. It s just seen on the toilet paper. No pad or tampon used. Kindly advise me what is going on inside. I m anxious about my pregnancy. Is there any chance of being pregnant. No symptoms noticed. PL help

Pregnancy is less likely. Many medical conditions may cause spotting. Possible causes may include:
• Hormonal imbalances
• PID/STI
• Pelvic masses

Since you are trying to get pregnant, I will suggest you see your doctor to, first of all, investigate for PID and if present, treatment is to be received. Duphaston may help regularize your period and make pregnancy easier.
